Beach House Fridays - Romance on the Terrace

The March issue of House Beautiful arrived in the mail last night, filled with all kinds of lovely images, using every shade of green imaginable.  So, after I had completely devoured the magazine and ripped out all of my favorite pages for my inspiration bulletin board in my office, I thought I would go online and see if any of the images were posted to add to Pinterest, and before I knew I was lost in "pinning" coastal room images and ideas from their website.

Fell in love with this outdoor veranda,  overlooking a sea blue bay.  Can't you just feel the ocean breeze with just a slight hint of chill in the salt air?  Good thing that they've included a cozy throw on the end of the Restoration Hardware wicker sofa!

Maybe a Diana Krall CD playing in the background? (love her!)  Champagne chilling, candles about to be lit as the sun begins its decent into the bay.   The only thing missing is a beautiful cheese tray....

I need to win the lottery.

Here are a few ideas from our site that could mix into this romantic setting!

Hand Painted Red Coral Pillows

Perfect for indoor-outdoor use!

Pretty etched seashell ice bucket to chill your champagne... and an assortment of champagne flutes or wine glasses if you prefer chilled white wine.   I particularly like the stemless wine glasses!

Let's not forget the cheese tray!  Love the polished shells, and the nickel accents of this seaside serving set - modern coastal with a twist of glamour.

If you are not already a  SeaLaura blog  fan - make sure to pop over there, and check out her new adventures on the Texas coast.  We also want to thank her for featuring our pink octopus pillow for her Valentine's wish list post!

Have a great weekend everyone!   I heard a rumor that we may go to Concannon winery for their chocolate and wine pairing event....
